This course explores the essential and empowering role of the Holy Spirit in the life of prayer. Believers are not meant to pray in their own strength or understanding, but to partner with the Spirit of God who searches hearts, reveals the will of God, and intercedes through us. Through this course, students will learn how to recognize and yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer, develop sensitivity to His promptings, and engage in Spirit-empowered intercession. Emphasis will be given to spiritual expressions such as praying in tongues, travail, prophetic burden, and supernatural groanings that align with heaven's agenda. Students will also explore the intimate and edifying relationship the Holy Spirit cultivates through a lifestyle of Spirit-led prayer.
