The City of Refuge Church is a prophetic, Spirit-filled community where believers gather to worship, receive healing, and grow in the Word of God. Located in northeast San Antonio, Texas: we are committed to teaching the uncompromised truth of God's Word, ministering His love, and empowering individuals to live out their God-given purpose. Our distinctives include Spirit-filled praise and worship, preaching the unchanging Word of God, and providing ministry that brings healing and deliverance to the whole person—body, soul, and spirit.
We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us in worship and ministry. Through passionate and authentic praise, we invite the presence of God to dwell among us, knowing that He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Worship is not just an event, but a lifestyle—a continual acknowledgment of God’s presence and His work in our lives.
At City of Refuge, the Word of God is taught without compromise. We believe that God’s Word is the ultimate truth, and it is through His Word that we understand who we are in Christ. Our ministry focuses on the full counsel of Scripture, challenging us to put away worldly wisdom and embrace the transformative power of God's truth (John 8:31-32). We strive to teach the Word in love, so that all may be equipped to walk in righteousness and holiness.
We are passionate about the ministry of healing and deliverance. At the City of Refuge, we offer Personal Ministry (PM) to help individuals find deep healing and restoration from past wounds, generational iniquities, lies, and demonic oppression. This Holy Spirit-empowered ministry brings freedom to the whole person, enabling each believer to fulfill their divine purpose and walk in the victory that Christ won for us on the cross.
Our healing ministry extends beyond physical healing to include emotional and spiritual restoration. We believe in God's promise to heal our bodies, and we embrace the power of prayer, faith, and the laying on of hands for healing. Through the ministry of healing and deliverance, we seek to restore every individual to wholeness, so they can become instruments of God’s healing in the world.
