This course provides a comprehensive biblical and practical study on the gift of tongues as revealed in Scripture and experienced through the Holy Spirit. It explores what speaking in tongues is, when it first appeared in the Bible, how it functions within the life of the believer, and its connection to the baptism and ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. Students will learn the difference between tongues as a private prayer language and tongues as a public gift in the Church.
The course will also examine historical and denominational perspectives, explaining why some Christian traditions have rejected or misunderstood the gift. Through scriptural teaching and pastoral guidance, students will gain confidence in understanding, exercising, and defending this powerful gift. The course concludes by equipping believers to live Spirit-filled lives marked by boldness, prayer, and edification through their spiritual language.
