This course will explore the heart of servanthood as a holy calling, not just a ministry function. Deacons are not called to power, status, or recognition, but to reflect the nature of Christ, who came to serve and not be served. Students will be taught to embrace servanthood as a lifestyle, an identity, and a sacred commission from the Lord. The course will cover the biblical model of servant leadership, the example of Jesus Christ, and the eternal significance of laying down one’s life for others. Emphasis will be placed on humility, sacrifice, obedience, and joy in service.
