This course introduces and equips believers, especially new and growing Christians to understand, recognize, and respond to the voice of God. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27), and in this course, students will learn not only that God speaks but how He speaks.

Through this teaching, students will explore the biblical foundation for hearing God’s voice, examine the different ways God communicates, including through Scripture, thoughts, people, circumstances, dreams, and prophetic utterance and learn how to grow in discernment, intimacy, and obedience. Barriers to hearing clearly such as personal wounds, judgments, and spiritual noise will be addressed with both biblical insight and practical tools for healing and growth.

The goal of this course is not just to teach methods but to help each student grow in relationship with the Lord, becoming more confident and mature in hearing, recognizing, and obeying His voice.

Key Themes:

  • Hearing God is the birthright of every believer
  • Jesus is the Shepherd who speaks to His sheep
  • God’s voice comes in many ways, not just audible words
