This course introduces the foundational principles of Personal Ministry as practiced in the City of Refuge (COR) model. Students will discover the biblical basis for healing the whole person, spirit, soul, and body, and the vital role of personal ministry in the life of the Church. We will explore God’s heart to restore, the difference between counseling and Spirit-led ministry, and why believers must be equipped to partner with the Holy Spirit to bring freedom, healing, and identity restoration to others. The course also outlines the posture, principles, and boundaries of those called to minister wholeness to the broken.
By the end of this course, students will have a clear understanding of what personal ministry is, why it is vital in today’s church, and how it reflects the compassionate nature of Jesus Christ.
